INTERDISTRICT SPACE CAMP
is a diversity-oriented program sponsored by the State of Connecticut for students entering grades 5 through 7 who reside in the following communities: 
Westport                     Norwalk
Bridgeport                  Weston
Stratford

Students will plan and “implement” a mission to Mars. The program will include hands-on activities at Westport’s Bedford Middle School. The program is free to students residing in the towns mentioned above!!

In addition, a number of field trips will be planned. 

Transportation:
Students from Bridgeport, Stratford, and Norwalk will be provided with bus transportation from designated locations at no cost.

Mandatory Parent
Orientation Meeting
will be held in the evening on June 25, 2008 at Bedford Middle School Cafeteria, Westport

There is no fee for this program. Last year, we had over 100 students enrolled.

May 21, 2008

You will be notified of enrollment decisions by June 6, 2008.

Dates of program:
July 7 – August 1, 2008
Students meet daily, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bedford Middle School, 88 North Avenue, Westport, CT  06880
